Gadde returns to TDP

Former Cheepurupalli MLA and TDP leader Gadde Babu Rao has left the party criticizing there is no recognition for him in the party. But, he returned to TDP making the same allegations against YSR Congress party. He joins TDP in the presence of Chandrababu Naidu on Friday.

Chandrababu has welcomed back into party as he is one of a strong leaders in Vizianagaram district. He hopes that his return to party may not only help to maintain the political balance in the district but also can overpower Botsa Satyanarayana and YSR parties. Gadde Babu Rao said some more leaders from YCP are likely to follow his path very soon, as they lack the backing of the party even while Botsa group is posing a big challenge to them. Former minister and senior TDP leader Ashok Gajapathi Raju said that Babu Rao’s return to party will definitely give an edge to TDP in the district.

Chandrababu on his admission into party said “Now Botsa Satyanarayana may have to look for some other constituency to improve his electoral chances as it is highly impossible for him to take-upon Babu Rao, who enjoys a good support of the people in his constituency.”

Although, Botsa Satyanarayana is quite confident of winning the elections, his reputation is badly damaged after he supports bifurcation of the state. It is reflected with the attacks on his properties by Samaikyandhra activists two months ago. So, Chandrababu’s opinion is justified about TDP’s victory in the district.
