New twist in fees reimbursement?

Evidently, Telangana CM KCR wants to reimburse the fees only to Telangana students. However, he opines that the existing system is beneficial to College managements and not to the students. So, he came up with new schemes that ensure the fees reimbursed by the government will be deposited into the students’ bank accounts instead of college accounts. Indeed, it is a good idea to help the students.

But, there are reports in the media that the government is planning to fix a cut off marks percentage to become eligible for the fees reimbursement. Probably, it is in a bid to reduce the financial burden on the government. T- Government has already filtered thousands of students with nativity condition and now seems to filter them further by fixing marks percentage. If this is true, even many Telangana students also will be betrayed of their scope for higher studies. However, this cut off marks condition is not yet confirmed by the concerned persons in the government.
