Division of state is inevitable: Purandeswari

Former Union Minister and Congress MP Purandeswari said that since now the division of the state seems to be inevitable, politicians of the state should adopt a practical approach with this issue instead of boasting about Samaikyandhra to win the hearts of people. Though, the move can be opposed in the Assembly and Parliament by the members, it is time for us to think on how to safeguard the region’s interests. I think it is unwise to keep on asserting the people that bifurcation process will be halted any moment, where as it seem to be evident. I have resigned to Union Minister post only and not to my MP post. Unfortunately, we were branded as traitors of Samaikyandhra as we have failed to bring about our sincere efforts to people notice to halt the bifurcation process. However, it is time for everyone to realize this bitter truth and adopt a practical approach to safeguard our interests.”
