Rs. 3,200 crores for Polavaram rehabilitation

 

 Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said that the Centre has allocated Rs. 3200 crores for rehabilitation works of Polavaram Project, in AP, Chattisgarh and Odisha states. He said once the Centre gives clearance and releases the funds, the project works will be kick started and the state government will try to complete it within four years. He said state government will take full care of the displaced tribals and provides them the best ever package and rehabilitation. He argued that TRS is trying to politicizing the issue to divert the people’s attention.
