We have separate strategies for both states: Digvijay

Congress party state political in-charge Digvijay Singh speaking to media at New Delhi said, “We have plans for a smooth passage of Telangana bill in state Assembly. We also have separate strategies for Andhra and Telangana states to win the elections. We will implement our plans in appropriate time.”

While, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and his followers are gearing-up to oppose the T-bill, Digvijay’s statement comes as a big surprise. How the Congress high command plans for a smooth passage of the bill in the house is very interesting. Even if Congress high command replaces CM Kiran Kumar Reddy in the last minute, rest of the members of Assembly including opposition parties may not let the bill pass smoothly.

So, Congress might have requested the President Pranab to minimize the period for returning the bill, probably a couple of days or so. Then it may take Speaker Nadendla Manohar’s support to ensure the bill pass without much discussion.

The strategies for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are no secret as everyone knows that it is going to depend upon KCR in Telangana and Jagan in Seemandhra. If CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is its hand in gloves, then it may assist him from behind for launching his own party, so that he can split the votes and return to Congress fold after the elections.
