CNN-IBN survey report

As the general elections are closing in, various agencies are also releasing their opinion poll survey reports on every other day to keep people and political parties informed about the people’s mood across the nation. The leading CNN-IBN media agency also recently conducted a survey along with the Lokniti, CSDS and The Week in various states between March 18 and 25.

As far as Andhra Pradesh state is concerned here is their findings: Out of 42 Lok Sabha seats that AP has in Andhra and Telangana regions, in Seemandhra Congress will get anywhere between 4-8 seats that is equal to 18% vote share where as it was 39% during previous elections. TDP vote share has gone up by 29%, where as it was just 25% in last elections. It is predicted that TDP will get 13-19 seats. YSR Congress party may get 21% vote share and may bag 9-15 seats. TRS will get 4-8 seats drawing 13% vote share, which was just 6% in the last elections.
