CM plans diversion with elections

It seems the zodiac signs are not favoring CM Kiran Kumar Reddy these days. The positive atmosphere that has been created during the last few weeks due to his success in society elections has suddenly evaporated into thin air and he is again back into his troubles. The opposition parties have intensified their agitations against power tariff hike. He has faced the ire of opposition parties during all party meeting conducted yesterday on Babli project. Chandrababu and Sharmila’s propaganda against his government during their padayatras is tarnishing his image. TRS resumes its Telangana agitations which gives him nightmares. Every thing seems to be going against his government these days.

Hence, he has decided to divert the opposition parties’ attention by going for the Panchayathi Raj and Municipal elections as early as possible, so as he can breathe easily for a while. At the same time, CM has also planned to counter the opposition parties’ propaganda by going to people soon.

He asked his Ministers to educate the people about the reasons for the present power crisis and the remedies taken by the government. He also insisted them to start campaign about various welfare schemes being implemented by the government so as to counter the opposition parties’ propaganda. Similarly, several programs like ‘Indiramma bata’, ‘Raitu Chaitanya Yatralu’ etc will be kicked off soon to reduce the opposition influence on the people. CM and his cabinet ministers are of the view that once the election notification is issued, opposition can’t afford to continue their agitations on power crisis any further. Most probably the elections may be conducted in the end of May or in the first week of June this year.
