Chiranjeevi ready to take ‘U’ turn

Union Ministers Chiranjeevi and Panabaka Lakshmi appear to be changed their stand on bifurcation. They both came to express their solidarity to Congress MPs and state ministers staging dharna near Gandhi statue at Parliament house, protesting party decision of bifurcation.

Chiranjeevi said “We came here to express our solidarity to our leaders, who are fighting for justice in bifurcation process. We have to ensure justice for both regions. It is unfair to see one region gets all the benefits and other is betrayed of its rights during bifurcation process. We couldn’t simply ignore the demands of lakhs of people agitating for justice. We are here to lend our voice to the people.” It is to be observed that earlier he told that he would like to abide party decision. But, when the high command has ordered the leaders not to speak on bifurcation issue and asked them not to raise questions on CWC decision, Chiranjeevi did quite against its wish and let his close aide C Ramachandraiah resigned to his post protesting party decision.

Another union minister Panabaka Lakshmi, who earlier has firmly said that she would like to abide by party decision, now says she also votes for Samaikyandhra and if not possible equal justice in bifurcation process. Whether the high command gains control these leaders or will they makes it succumb to their pressures is an interesting thing to watch.
