A Chennai court on Wednesday issued non-bailable warrant against megastar turned Congress MP Chiranjeevi for violating election code.

A case was registered against Chiranjeevi under sections 188 and 143 for breaking the code of conduct during his election campaign at Chennai earlier. The Hossur court in Chennai issued the warrant and directed the police to present Chiranjeevi in the court before 2 October, 2012.
