CBI files case against former Telecom Min. Raja

CBI files cases against former Telecom Minister A. Raja, his wife, brother and his close associates on Wednesday after conducting raids on their offices and houses in Delhi, Chennai and Koyampattur simultaneously. CBI files a case against Raja for accumulating disproportionate assets worth Rs.27.9 crores. He is also facing charges in 2G scam for a long time but managed to secured bail. Probably, this would be the beginning of second round of cases for him. If so, DMK president Karunanidhi’s daughter and MP Kanimozhi also should be prepared for her turn to face the cases for the same reasons as she is also involved in 2G scam and allegedly accumulated huge assets.
