Cancer Hospital Mangalagiri to be upgraded

As a part of several packages being offered to AP government by NDA, the present Cancer hospital at Mangalagiri in Guntur district will be upgraded to ultra-modern cancer hospital with an estimated cost of Rs.120 crores. Since, Centre has given nod for this project, state Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas accompanied by principal secretary of his ministry LV Subrahmanyam has visited the existing cancer hospital in Mangalagiri Friday. They convinced that the hospital has sufficient land for development. So, the minister asked the officials prepare the project report for upgrading the hospital. He said that he will personally visit union health minister Dr. Harsha Vardhan and get it approved.
