Byreddy party likely to merge with TDP

Talks between Byreddy Rajashekar Reddy led Rayalaseema Parirakashana Samithi (RPS) and TDP is going on for merger of RPS with TDP. RPS has fielded 52 candidates for Assembly and8 for Loksabha on its behalf. Byreddy’s daughter Dr.Sabari is contesting elections from Panyam. So, TDP managers are insisting them all to withdraw in favor of the party if they want their party merge with TDP. However, the talks are not smooth as Byreddy is not willing to withdraw all his candidates from race.

However, Byreddy, who until now is sharply criticizing Jagan, Kiran and Chandrababu for ignoring the interests of Rayalaseema despite being hailing from the same region, suddenly moving close to TDP has come as a surprise. However, his political rivals argue that he did so after police have booked a case against him in a murder case recently.
