It is believed that Arjuna was just a medium of the Lord to send out his message to mankind. Arjuna’s dilemma about killing his kins gives us a lesson of being detached from our actions. It is not we who are doing things. The lord himself is getting things done by us.

So why should we morn for something that doesn't die at all? Another important lesson from this holy book is that man must always do his duty. Those who avoid it fearing the consequences incur sin.
