Assembly sessions to begin from 13th

Government has declared commencement of Assembly sessions from March 13th to May 2nd. The state budget will be presented in the house on March 18th and the Assembly will adjourns for a month from March 22nd to April 22nd to enable standing committees go through the budget before finally presenting it for a debate in the house. Assembly sessions will resume from April 23rd and will continue till May 2nd.

Since, the Telangana problem has been not addressed by the Center, the Assembly sessions are going to be a big test for Kiran Kumar Reddy government. More over, YSR Congress party, which is fuming on Congress government for Jagan’s prolonged imprisonment, may take drastic step if reaches flash point, with which the government may fall down. However, chances are blink as YSRCP may not chose this option as it can’t afford to face the elections without its president leading it. If, Chandrababu prefers to continue with his padayatra, he may miss the sessions, which may ease pressure on the ruling Congress government.
