No second thoughts on Bauxite Mining?

Andhra Pradesh Government seems to be decided to go ahead with its plans for Bauxite mining in Visakha Agency area, after Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu managed to convince Janasena President Pawan Kalyan in this matter three days ago.

State DGP JV Ramudu’s media statement made at Visakhapatnam is clearly hinting that government is not in a mood to revoke its decision in this matter. He said “State government has taken this decision only after deeply studying the problems involved in it. Hence, it is our department’s duty to make sure that no hurdles in implementing its decision. We will provide police protection for mining activities in the agency area if necessary.”

DGP JV Ramudu said further “If YSR Congress party submits application for conducting a public meeting at agency area protesting the state government’s decision, our department will consider it.” This is indicating that government is fully prepared to face opposition parties’ protests also.
