Government releases ordinance abolishing all temple committees

The AP state government has released an ordinance for abolishing all the trusts and temple committees in the state following the cabinet decision taken three days ago. In normal situation this kind of ordinance goes unnoticed by the public, but now gets focus in wake of TTD Chairman Kanumuri Bapiraju refusal to step down from his post. He said that he will continue till the new committee is formed and if the government doesn’t allow him to continue, he will visit the temple daily till end of his term that is on August 26th like any other devotee. So, he is creating embarrassment not only to self but also to the TTD officials and the state government by continuing in his post. However, he is automatically loses his Chairman Post with the release of ordinance.
