AP CM Mr Naidu meets India Twitter head

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister who is already known to be a  tech savvy CM of erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh  where he ushered in the IT sector boom in the State ,has decided to take another step forward – and that too in the Social Media game. He met up with the Rishi Jaitley, India Head of the micro blogging site Twitter to discuss various issues and strategies as to how the State Government of AP could get closer to the public via Social Media.

With Prime Minister Modi already active on both the Twitter and Face Book and propagating every new policy of the Indian Government, meetings with dignitaries and expressing his views, opinions and messages as per the events happening in the country, Mr Naidu is also keen to follow him in his footsteps to use this Global platform as he understands the quick reach of this medium, so that the Govt. policies and achievements reach the public faster.

But what he also needs to understand is with the interaction and response generated he becomes answerable to the questions and criticism posted and cannot merely use the Social Media as state government information dissemination medium.
