Chandrababu Naidu sets Fresh deadline

 

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has sets a fresh deadline for his government to move into the state. He said that arrangements for shifting of the government administration to Vijayawada are in progress and he expects to move into the city any time before Ugadi festival in the next year.

 

Speaking to his party MLAs in his chamber in the state Assembly, he said “We will handle our political affairs from Hyderabad, but administrative affairs from Vijayawada only from next year. We are searching for suitable buildings to accommodate all our offices and their staff at Vijayawada. Even if we don’t find enough buildings, we should prepare to operate the government from temporary sheds but shouldn’t prolong our decision any further.”

 

Ministers and MLAs who attend the meeting, told him that they are also facing pressures from the people to move into Vijayawada. CM Chandrababu Naidu also agreed that some delay taken place due to some problems. He assured them that all administrative departments will be moved any time before the Telugu New Year Ugadi.

 

So, let us hope this time the government will not for any excuses to postpone its shifting into the state.
