Algerian plane with 116 people on board missing

 

 Flight No: AH 5017 of Air Algerie airlines is reported to be missing 50 minutes after its take off from Burkina Faso on Thursday bound for Algiers. According to reports, the plane was in Malian air space and is about to enter into Algerian airspace but it lost contact with air traffic control after the pilot was asked to detour his plane because of poor visibility and to prevent the risk of collision with another aircraft on the Algiers-Bamako route. There are 110 passengers and 6 crew members on board the ill-fated flight. Search parties were pressed into operation soon after knowing about losing contacts with air traffic control. No further details are available about the missing plane or its whereabouts.
