Afghanistan, Kabul: On Monday, 24 were killed and 91 were wounded because of the twin Taliban explosions that took place near the Defence Ministry, Central Kabul. As the Taliban increased their nationwide offense against the government, they killed high level officials that include an army general in the massacre. Mohammad Radmanish, the spokesman of the defense ministry said that, the first explosion occurred on a bridge near the ministry. The second explosion occurred when the soldiers, policemen and the civilians rushed to help the victims. Waheed Majroh, the spokesman of the health ministry said, “The attack left 24 people dead and 91 wounded. Some of them are serious and the casualties can rise further”.
