Congress style of cleaning corruption

After Rahul Gandhi orders for a re-look on Adarsh Housing scam report tabled before Maharashtra government by two member commission, Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan obeying his orders ordered for review on it, but a partial one. Four former CMs of the state including present Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde are involved in this scam. Besides there are tens of officials have their names in this list. Indian diplomat Devayani Kobragade is also one among them. Pridviraj Chavan told the media that his government will initiate legal actions against those 25 people, who illegally procured flats in Adarsh Housing society.

It is to be noted that Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan, who simply rejected the commission’s report on the housing scam just few days ago, is agreeing to review the report and also admitting that irregularities have taken place. It reveals that his government has rejected the commission’s report to conceal these bitter facts. Even now also, he is not willing to take action against the corrupt politicians involved in it, but just gearing for action against 25 people, who may not have enough political backing. Is this what Rahul Gandhi actually asked for? Is it the way how a Congress government cleans the corruption?
