TDP MLA Revanth Reddy on Monday was produced in court for allegedly horse-trading a nominated MLA to vote in their favour in the today’s MLC elections, has been inflicted 14 days judicial custody.
Revanth Reddy lawyers stated that they would file a petition in the court seeking bail. It is also learnt that court has granted him permission to vote in the MLC elections and will be sent to Charlapally Jail after the voting finished. “Revanth Reddy complained against police officials for handling him rudely and posted his appeal to the judge to allow him for the treatment for his injuries” lawyer said.
On the other hand, Revanth Reddy severely hitting out at KCR for intentionally roping him in this case and said he would fight against it in the court.
