AP Smart Pulse survey is first of its kind

AP Government is planning to have a first of its kind survey in India where they are providing an opportunity to people to update their information even after the data collection process is completed in July this year. The proposed survey will have 75 parameters relating to socio-economic and academic and important data relating to individuals and households.

More than 30,000 municipal and revenue staff will be involved in the survey to be conducted in June (20-30) and July (6-30). The main purpose of the data will be to get key information of beneficiaries to chalk out and implement various schemes. The biggest plus point of this survey is that the information will be updated from time to time even after the actual survey is completed, unlike in Telangana where it was done only once.
