Protests against Sri Lankan President

Sri Lanka President Rajapakse proposed visit to Tirupati creates havoc in the country as DMK lead groups hits the streets in large numbers protesting his entry into country. DMK chief Karunanidhi’s second son Stalin leads the protests in Tamilnadu state. He said the person who killed thousands of innocent Tamilians including children and aged women branding as pro LTTE people shouldn’t be allowed to enter into India. He said they will intensify their protests if the government ignores their demand. Protesters have burnt Rajapakse’s effigy and staged rasta rokos and dharnas all over the state.
Some Tamil people in New Delhi also stage dharnas headed by Tamil leader Vaigo near Janatar Mantar protesting his arrival to country. Police have tightened the security arrangements at Tirupati to prevent any untoward incidents during Pakse’s visit to holy temple.
