Nana Patekar slams B'wood's support to Pak artists
Updated : Oct 3, 2016
Nana Patekar recently opened up on the entire controversy. He told the media, "Country comes first and other than my country at the moment, I don't know anything else. Rather, I don't want to know anything else. Actors are trivial compared to the country's well being." He has come out in support of the ban on Pakistani artists in India. Nana Patekar's comments come following the ban on Pakistani actors from the industry in the wake of the Uri attack. Patekar also made it clear that the country comes first for him. ” I was in the army and have spent two and half years there. I know who are our biggest heroes. No one can be a bigger hero than our jawans. Our jawans are our real heroes,” said Patekar. "Bollywood people are trivial, fake people. You know who I'm talking about. Whoever is saying so many things, don't give them too much importance. They don't deserve that much importance." he added.
