AP CM Kiran Kumar Reddy started on 'Indiramma Bata' tour program to East Godawari district this morning. He will be touring in the district for three days. He is scheduled to reach Madhurapudi aerodrome at 10.40 AM and from there to Gokaram at 11.10 AM. There he will inspect the Primary Health Centre (PHC) and reach Kishnunipalem in Gokavaram mandal at by 11.50 AM to review the works taken up under employment guarantee scheme.

The CM will also interact with Indira Jalaprabha beneficiaries during his tour. Later in the day after lunch he will reach Rampachodavaram Residential Junior College by helicopter. At 3 PM he will inaugurate the Bhupathipalem Project at Gandhinagar. He will interact with Tribalas and farmers at Pedda Geddada - 4 PM, Girijana Welfare School inspection in Musurumilli village at 5.10 PM. Later in the evening he will return back to Rampachodavaram to inspect AP Residential Junior College and halt there for the night.

The above schedule is going to get delayed as the chief minister's flight was delayed for a couple of hours at Shamshabad airport due to inclement weather. It is also possible that the CM may have to cut short some of his engagements during the three day tour, if the weather worsens still further.

Meanwhile, at Gokavaram Telugu Desam Party staged protest against Indiramma Bata declaring that they will obstruct CM's tour in the district. Police arrested Rajanagaram TDP MLA Pendurthi Venkatesh and several others in this connection. The arrests caused the protestors to resort to stage dharna and rasta roko resulting into heavy traffic jam near Korukonda.
