Seven air crafts burnt in fire accident

A major fire accident takes place in the air crafts maintenance section at Begumpet old air port, Secunderabad on Monday midnight leaving five training air crafts, two charted air crafts and one helicopter burn to ashes.
According to reports, the accident happens due to electrical short circuit in the maintenance shed, where all the fuelled air crafts were resting. The chopper in which Chief Minister of the state normally travels also caught fire though it is away from the shed. However, no one was said to be injured or died in the accident, because the accident happens around midnight. Fire service department has pressed all its fire engines and staff to bring the fire under control. They bring the fire under control after hours of battling.
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy who came to know about the accident has ordered for investigation. There were Aviation training center, Air Craft maintenance sections etc in the same premises. Begumpet Air Port was closed to public after the new airport at Shamshabad become operational few years back. Currently, the Begumpet air strip is being used for VVIPs air travel and defense crafts maintenance, private air crafts travel and maintenance and training purpose. Investigation teams which rushed to the spot are inquiring about the security lapses and failing of alarm systems at the time of fire accident make.
