Rape victim’s native village praying for recovery

While too many serious protests have been going on in the capital against the rape incident on a 23 year para medical student in a private bus on 16th of this month, the villagers in her native place in Uttar Pradesh have been praying day and night for the speedy recovery of the daughter of their village.
Since the news of the pathetic incident came in the media, the villagers of Medwara Kalan in Ballia are praying at the local temple continuously for the well being of the lady. They are demanding the severe punishment for all the six persons who committed the heinous crime.
Former chief of the village commented that the young lady had succeeded in overcoming the testing phase. He said that they would fight till the accused are hanged to death. The relatives of the lady have already gone to Delhi to see their family member who was in serious condition at Safdarjung Hospital in the capital.
As per the reports, the people of the family were worrying much after the incident. On the other side, violence was erupted at India Gate in the capital this evening after the protestors have pelted stones towards the police. Several metro stations were closed by the police to contain the agitation.
