Let the TRS turn the state into a war zone. Let the TRS divide the people of the state and create hatred between them. Let the TRS absorb the Congress leaders into it. But, Madam Sonia-team was never seen pressing the panic button.

Even, TRS president KCR also has realized this fact very lately and curse himself for falling into their trap- “Discussions at New Delhi.” He might felt very proud of being invited by them to New Delhi and to sit along with the countries’ top brass. But, finally he once again re-understood that he has been again cheated in the name of talks. He even made a confession that is suicidal for his party. He told his people that he even agreed to merge TRS into Congress party if it gives him Telangana state! In other words, he is agreeing that the Congress obliges him to make such political suicidal statement.

But, ultimately what would be Congress party strategy on the burning Telangana issue? Is it going to declare or not?

In the prevailing political situation in the state, if the congress declares Telangana state, bowing to TRS pressures it will benefit TRS party instead of Congress party. Once it is declared, nevertheless KCR will project himself as the ‘Mahatma of Telangana’ who made their dream true with his hard efforts and political wisdom. He will also make the people believe that he made the congress biggies bow down before him and declare Telangana as he demanded. So, obviously he will become hero among the political leaders in Telangana and his TRS party will get the full benefit out of it. So, how does one can expect that a century old horse like Congress will ever handover the credit to its rival and stand fooling itself before him? So, it is clear that unless the congress make sure that entire credit goes into its account, it will not declare Telangana anyway. So it is waiting for the positive signs to come up.

By now, the Congress party might have sniffed the negative mood of the people of the state and the country, knowing about its all round failures. So, it might be planning to play ‘Telangana card’ just before the elections to create some favorable atmosphere in Telangana. Come it may be in 2014 or mid–term polls, but certainly not before that. It may also keep its options open by assuring the people to give Telangana if they give it another chance in the elections or it may formally declare Telangana just before the elections to please the Telangana people and to bring back its Congress leaders back into arms. It may adopt either of these two plans to pass the acid test in the elections.

One may doubt in such case how is the Congress party going to face the Seemandhra reaction, which proved fatal for it earlier? Madam Sonia–team might have already answers for this question also.

No doubt, it will be fatal for Congress party, if Seemandhra votes against its decision. But, Madam Sonia-team very well knows whom to sooth and how to tackle them. They also know whom to throw the ‘cabinet baits.’ They also very well experienced on how to deal with the dissidents if emerge any.

For instance Jagan’s case stands one fine example of the Congress’ brain game. It has tried to sooth him first. But, when he was found passing above its head it, he was simply found himself amid CBI cases and now resting in jail. So, one need not to educate Congress high command how to deal with their people on this serious issue. If it could manage handful leaders of the party, then everything will fall in line. That is why the Congress high command sitting so cool hatching the Telangana issue. In the mean time it lets us all keep guessing and analyzing this burning issue.
