Congress understood poll alliance inevitable

Congress party might have realizes the ground realities with the defeat at Gujarat. During the ongoing three-day Chintan Shibir being held at Jaipur in Rajasthan, Congress clearly understood that it can’t afford to fight the elections on its own without having a poll alliance with regional parties. Sonia Gandhi expressing concern over the greediness, power hunger and lack of teamwork of her party leaders has asked them to change themselves before its too late. She said though the Congress party is considered to be largest party in the country, gradually it is loosing its shine in several states and even loosing grip in its strong holds. Alerting her party leaders she said “Our negligence and ignorance in our strong holds is giving way to regional parties to occupy our position. We are currently facing very tough competition from regional parties and we were forced to make alliance with them only because lack of unity and teamwork in us. She asked the members to awake before it’s too late. Perhaps, this why it’s now talking about alliance with Jagan Mohan Reddy in the state.
