During the recent visit of two political observers specially handpicked by Rahul Gandhi, a formal indication of having alliance with YSR Congress party in the upcoming elections is surfaced. The observers have enquired whether it would be better to have alliance with YSRCP or to merge it into Congress party. This clearly reveals that the team Rahul is keen to join hands with Jagan Mohan Reddy in the elections.

As if a continuation to it, AICC Member Vayalar Ravi has made a significant statement yesterday about alliance with YSRCP. He said the state Congress party will decide about the alliance with YSR Congress party, thus confirming a possible alliance with it.

Responding to Congress party feelers, senior leader of YSRCP Mekapati Ramohan rao speaking to media has said, his party is going to win at least 200 MLA seats and 30 MP seats in the forthcoming elections. Then the party will make alliance with a secular party in the center and going to play vital role at Center as a king maker. He also made it clear that his party will not support or make any alliance with BJP at Center or state level. Hence, in other words it is to be understood that YSRCP too is ready join hands with Congress party in the upcoming elections.

However, unless they both merge at state level, it would be very difficult for them to share seats at state level, as both parties have hundreds of aspirants.
