Congress agrees defeat before fight in Gujarat?
Updated : Dec 10, 2012
With hardly 48 hours left for Gujarat assembly elections, Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh speech in his recent meeting in Gujarat has reveals the Congress party is almost agrees its defeat prior to the polling date. Instead of speaking about the growth and development of the country in his leadership, for the first time Dr.Manmohan Singh also was forced to play a politician role in the meeting. He has played minority card to bag the support of the minorities in the state.
He pointed out that minorities in the state feel very unsecure and some even approached him with this issue. He flays the Modi government for implementing ‘divide and rule policy’ to run the government. He assured only Congress party is the only one party in the country that considers all the people of the country as one and equal. He also pointed out several issues like malnutrition in the children in downtrodden classes, poverty in the rural areas of the state etc in his speech, instead of presenting his own achievements in his speech. He flays Modi for woo wooing the people about rapid development of the state. He said the development was only seen in the high end business circles and certainly not in the villages and their living standards. However, he has to agree that Narendra Modi even made him to talk about his development and not about his own achievements in his speech. According to reports flowing in Narendra Modi is going to make hat-trick with this election.
