Cong plays same old trick on its T-Cong MPs
Updated : Dec 5, 2012
The 7 Telangana congress MPS, who are now in big dilemma over supporting the party on FDI bill swings between their longstanding demand of ‘Telangana’ and obeying the party high command’s order. They very well know that if they fail to encash such a wonderful opportunity to bow the party high command for their demand, they will never get another chance in near future. So, they have to react accordingly.
But, on the other hand if they gives ‘hand’ to their ‘hand party’ congress at a crucial time like FDI bill voting, they very well knew what could be the consequences and what would be their position in the party from tomorrow onwards. So, it is understood that they can’t afford to put their political future at the stake, while they knowing that even their absence to the voting will not pose any major threat to party. So, they have to think twice of boycotting the voting process, which will be proved to be a politically suicide for themselves.
They also can’t leave the party relying upon TRS president K.Chandrashekar rao, about whom they very well know his arrogant style of dealing with them in case if they have to kneel before him begging for his party tickets. Knowing all this, Congress high command has thrown bait to its Telangana MPS through Home Minister Shinde a short while ago. He has offered them to hold an all party meeting soon after the current parliament sessions. Both the Telangana MPs and congress high command very well knows that once the hurdle of voting was crossed, an all party meeting will end up with no conclusion but it provides enough time to Congress party to prolong the Telangana issue as long as it wants to.
