Telangana is in a debt trap: Kishan Reddy

HYDERABAD: On Monday, Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao was alleged for transforming Telangana from a revenue surplus state into a debt driven state by G Kishan Reddy, the Legislature Party Leader of T-BJP.Mr Kishan Reddy accused that the State of Telangana was in a debt trap and the position of the finance was not as promising as it was being shown. He said that, the government of the state was not successful in releasing the loan waiver scheme’s third installment to the peasants and Telangana at the time of separation was a revenue surplus state but now had transformed into a debt driven state, adding that, TG did not release even 20% of budgetary allocations for the programmes with regard to the development of the state.
