Sonia blasts Modi for shielding corruption

AICC president Sonia Gandhi has said that the government of Narendra Modi was misleading the people of the state in the name of development.
While starting the campaigning for the second phase of polling in the state at Kalol town in Gandhinagar district, she said that Sir Creek would not be handed over to Pakistan at any cost. She declared that the national security and integrity would not be compromised at any cost.
‘Our leaders like Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi had laid down their lives while protecting the national unity and integrity of the country’, said Sonia. She advised Modi to stop dirty politics at the cost of the security of the country. ‘Opposition parties are making baseless allegations on our government. The central funds were diverted for benefitting the people who are close to the state government’ said Sonia.
Sonia said that her party had started various schemes like MNREGA, RTI, loan waiver for farmers among others. Sonia has also said that the state government was misusing the electricity given to it by the centre by which the poor people in the state were suffering.
