CM is trying to downplay the tragedy: Ali

HYDERABAD: On Monday, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, who is an opposition leader in the legislative council, said that, thousands of farmers in the state lost their crops in the recent rains and they were not in a position to claim the insurance because the premium was not paid by the banks as the government of Telangana didn’t pay the third installment of crop loan wavier scheme.In reference with the claims that have been made by KCR that the rains did not cause much damage, the opposition leader asked the Chief Minister of Telangana to tour the areas that are affected. He also said, “The Chief Minister if trying to downplay the tragedy to avoid further criticism”.
