NIA slaps 5-year-jail on an LeT operative

HYDERABAD: On Friday, NIA special court in Bangalore sentenced a Lashkar-e-Toiba operative from Hyderabad to five year imprisonment for conceiving collusion to kill politicians, police personnel and journalists, who belong to the right wing, from Bangalore, Hubli, Nanded and Hyderabad. A B.com student from Hyderabad, Obaid Ur Rehman and some others have been convicted by the NIA special court, which is located at Bangalore, for conducting reconnaissance, identifying the leaders in the city, who belong to the right wing, and for sharing the details of the same with the members of the gang to eliminate them.
