I feel unsecure in Congress: Chiranjeevi
Updated : Dec 21, 2012
Soon after the big defeat at Gujarat elections, the state Congress decides to strain it brains (brainstorm) on the issue and to learn lessons out of it. So, it invites all the biggies to Gandhi Bhavan to give their valuable suggestions to ensure a successful ride in the upcoming elections.
Chiranjeevi, who often tries to impress the seniors in the party with his cinematic speech, alas rubs on the wrong side of their shoulders with his speech. This time also he tried to give an impressive speech in which he plans to offer his valuable suggestions to party chief and head of the state.
He grabs the mike and said “When I enter a house and see its weak structure is standing on a very weak foundation, it scares me and makes me feel unsecure. I think the party position is also no different to it. Unless, we strengthen its structure and foundations on war footing mode, one day we are going to regret for our inaction. I observed lack of teamwork and lack of interest to campaign about our welfare schemes. If we let the things go like this definitely it will make things tough for us in the upcoming elections.”
After finishing his speech he sat patting himself for making such an impressive speech with no pre-written script in hand.
But, PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana takes it otherwise and replied him “Perhaps it appears to outsiders that our Congress structure is very weak and it can be bring down to earth with small effort. I assure you all that several people in the past have tried to pull it down but failed. Then only they have realized that it is not a hollow structure to pull down. Then they also start taking shelter under the same roof with us.”
Perhaps, this is not the resonse that Chiranjeevi expects for his impressive speech.
