Assembly! An official platform for abusing each other?

The debate on Law and Order situation in the state got heated up as the members of Assembly of ruling and opposition parties digging the past incidents have made severe allegations against each other. The ruling TDP members brought the house to standstill when the main opposition leader Jagan Mohan Reddy addressed them as Buffoons. The ruling party members demand him apologize the house for making derogatory remarks against them. Speaker Kodela Shivaprasada rao also suggested him to withdraw his remarks but, Jagan refused. Hence, Speaker told the house that he is removing his remarks from the records and adjourned the house to Saturday.

Actually, YCP has disrupted the house proceedings for three days demanding the Speaker to let the house debate on the declining Law and Order situation in the state. When, he permits the debate leads to heated exchange of words between the two parties, instead of pin pointedly addressing the problem. The precious time of house is wasted for making allegations and counter allegations by the ruling and opposition parties.

People may agree that there is no use of conducting the Assembly sessions, if they provide an official platform to ruling and opposition parties for abusing each other, while ignoring the miserable situation of the people in the state.
