The prices of essential food commodity like urad dal and tur dal has been sky rocketing along with the prices of Tomato and Potato. The current situation in the country is so bad that vegetable price inflation has risen 2.21 percent to 12.94%. Tomatoes are going for Rs 100 a kg. While Tur dal now costs as much as Rs 170/kg. Urad dal is selling for as high as Rs 196/kg.
