Telangana state IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has been repeatedly blaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not stepping into Telangana state after its formation. He said that the Prime Minister prefers to tour abroad rather than the states in the country.

BJP Telangana state President Kishan Reddy sharply reacting to his criticism replied, “First of all, let them tell whether Telangana state Chief Minister KCR or anyone from his government have ever invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit the Telangana state? If not, then how did they expect him to visit the state? Whether he visits the state or not, his government is funding for several projects and welfare schemes in the state. The housing projects that Telangana government is claiming credit for itself are actually funded by the Centre. Then how the TRS Ministers can blame the Center? asked Kishan Reddy. He said that KTR or whoever from TRS party may be criticizing the Modi Government keeping in view of upcoming GHMC elections."
