The Indian men's hockey team created history of its won by qualifying for their maiden Champions Trophy final on Thursday and assured itself of a medal for the first time. This was possible because of Great Britain's 3-3 draw against Belgium in London.  India's first ever Champions Trophy final after winning a bronze medal way back in Netherlands in the 1982 event.
