The most wanted criminal and underworld don Chota Rajan, who was absconding from police for the last two decades, finally was nabbed at Bali in Indonesia on Monday while he was returning from Australia. Australian police, Indonesian police and CBI teams from India take part in this joint operation. Minister of state of foreign affairs VK Singh, who reached Indonesia two days before his arrest is reportedly played key role in conducting this joint operation.

 

Since, there is an agreement between India and Indonesia for handing over criminals, there may be no problem in bringing him back to India for facing trial in more than dozen serious offences. Once, Chota Rajan worked for underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, but later he separated from him and established his own gang.
