Chandrababu Naidu has continued his ‘vasutunna meekosam’ pada-yatra till midnight on Friday as the people wait for him at Kusumanchi village.
Responding to the recent hike of the alcohol prices he said, “The government ensures a proper supply of alcohol through out the state. It not even spares alcohol. It also hikes the alcohol prices to 200% because it badly needs the revenue to run the government. It may be failed to provide drinking and irrigation water to the people, but ensures a sufficient supply of alcohol to every nook and corner of the state. the government is eager and keen to hike the power tariff, but do not bothers about the power supply. I challenge the government if it can’t handle the power crisis in the state, let it step down from the power. I will show how to efficiently manage it.”
Chandrababu also warned the government not to indulge in dirty tricks like arresting his party MLAs and cadre booking them in fake cases. If the congress government continues any further, his party will launch a fresh agitation against it. He assured the cadre to stand by them if necessity arises.
Chandrababu will continue his 3rd of his pada-yatra in Kammam city today. He will hold a meeting with Telangana TDP forum leaders at Errabelli Dayakar rao’s house in the city today, where they will discuss about key issues of the prevailing situation.
