Telugu films hero King Akkineni Nagarjuna's new Telugu movie Damarukam shooting will resume in the first week of July. A special set has been erected in Saradhi Studios, Ameerpet and Nagarjuna will join Damarukam shooting from July 1st week. Damarukam movie is tipped to be the biggest movie in terms of budget in Nagarjuna's career.

Nagarjuna is playing Auto Driver and Prakash Raj is essaying the role of Lord Shiva, Anushka's is dooning a role that has a some superficial powers and Bollywood actor Abhimanyu Singh is also playing an important character. The first schedule of Dhamarukam movie was started on June 6 in Bramaramba Mallikarjuna temple near BHEL. Damarukam unit also recently left to Switzerland where the unit filmed a song on Nagarjuna and Anushka.

Damarukam movie is directed by Srinivasa Reddy and Produced by Venkat under RR Movie Makers banner. Damarukam release date is planned for 2012 Sankranthi and RR Movie Makers are taking all measures to avoid clash between Damarukam and Mahesh Babu's The Businessman, which is also scheduled for release on 2012 Sankaranthi.
