Rajma Potato Rolls

 

 

Ingredients ;

Rajma (Chikkudu ginjalu )  - 1/2 Cup

Lobia (Bobbarlu ) - 1/2 Cup

Turmeric 1/2 Tbsp

Garam masala powder 1/2 Tbsp

Red chilly powder - 1 Tbsp

Chat masala - 1/2 Tbsp

Salt to taste

 Oil - 2 Tbsp

Potatoes (boiled) - 3 

Spring onions (chopped) 1/4 Cup

Pepper powder 1/2 Tbsp

Chudva cornflakes - 1/2 Cup

All purpose flour - 2 Tbsp  

Prepare method ;

1.Soak rajma and lobia one night, then boil them in the morning till it becomes mashy.

2.Now add turmeric, garam masala powder, red chilly powder, chat masala, salt and mix it.

3.Now in boiled potatoes add spring onions, pepper powder, salt and mix it.

4.Make small dumps of rajma mixture and keep it aside.

5.In the same way make small balls with potato mixture and stuff the rajma mixture in the potato balls or stuff the potato mixture in the rajma tikki, you can do the either way and give your own shape.

6. Now coat them with coarse powder of chudva cornflakes. Dip this in the batter of all purpose flour and salt. Coat it back again in the corn flakes mixture and deep fry them in hot oil.

7. Take them out when they become golden brown.Use skewer sticks to give a loli pop look. Serve with tomato soup and have a delicious rolls.
