Dark Chocolate Nut Balls

 

 

As we continue learning about Kids Sweet Treats that are mainly healthy and attractive to them...today its The Dark Chocolate's turn. Its always good to get kids used to snacking dark chocolate treats than the regular chocolate ones, because of its goodness.

* Caution : Please keep the word 'HEALTHY' a secret from your kids !!

 

Ingredients:

* 1/3 cup - Oats

* 1/3 cup - Peanut Butter

* 1/3 cup - Nutty mixture of Sunflower seeds, Almonds, Walnuts, Linseeds

* 1/3 cup - Dried Cranberries, Black Raisins

* 1/3 cup - Dark Chocolate chips

* 2 Tbsp - Honey

* 1 Tsp - Vanilla Extract ( only for flavor, you can avoid if you dont like)

 

Method:

Combine all ingredients, mix well and roll into balls. Try this small portion as a sample...if your kids like, then make another batch increasing the portions or even choosing to add more of a few favourite ingredients too !! Because of Dark Chocolate which is good for Heart, the Nuts which give Energy and Peanut Butter which stops hunger for quite a good time.....these treats act as Power Snack and they are fun too !!
