Dark chocolate coated banana bites

Most of us are thinking of reducing weight, eating healthy, controlling diabetes, burning calories and what not related to health ! Desserts don't have to kill our healthy diet plans, neither do we need to sacrifice our sweet tooth cravings every time. Just a few fruits, some nuts and a clever mind can make our meal a delicious treat, sametime, a nutritious and low calorie one. Here are a few recipes for all of us....

We need:< /p>

* Semi-sweet chocolate chips/ dark cocoa powder ( with more than 70% cocoa)
* Banana cut into bite size pieces
* Wide vessel to boil water
* Small sauce pan to melt chocolate

Method:
On the stove top, boil water upto half level in a wide vessel. Now, toss in few chocolate chips into a small sauce pan that can be dipped into the water vessel. With the help of the water vapor from the vessel, the chocolate in the saucepan starts to melt. Keep aside the melted chocolate and carefully dip the banana bites into the melt. If you are using cocoa powder, mix warm water in 2tsp of the powder and follow the sauce pan method until the mixture lightly boils. Then, Coat the banana bites as you like. Let them dry on a plate or cookie sheet. You can turn it into a cold dessert by putting them in the freezer for a while or cherish this light and sweet dish as-is.
