7 Cups Burfi

 

 

 

Ingredients:

Besan 1cup

Ghee 1cup

Grated coconut 1cup

Milk 1cup

Sugar 2cups 

Mixed Dry fruits 1cup

 

Method of Preparation

1) Take a thick bottom Pan, add 1tablespoon ghee, and roast the dry fruits, strain them and keep them aside.

2) To the remaining ghee in pan add besan; fry it for 4 to 5 minutes on medium flame.

3) Now add sugar, coconut and milk to the pan and mix it well, then add 1 tablespoon ghee to the mixture and cook in low-flame. Add remaining ghee in frequent intervals. 

4) And continue to cook, when the mixture separates from the sides of the pan; add dry fruits and mix it well, remove the pan from stove. 

5) Pour the cooked mixture into greased tray and spread evenly 

6) After adequate cooling, proceed to cutting.
