YCP activist arrested for Facebook comments

CH Rahul Reddy, YSR Congress party activist from Guntur was arrested by the state CID police for posting ‘irresponsible and anti-people’ comments on Facebook. He writes ““I love u Hudhood, Mosam chesina varini matram bendu teestunna prakruthi (nature is taking revenge on those who cheated)… feeling god is there (sic).”

Police have arrested him from Arundalpet in Guntur two days ago. He is BL final year student studying in a local college. He is closely associated with YSR Congress party district student wing, said the police. He was arrested under provisions of the I-T Act dealing with hate speech, and a case was filed under Section 153 A and Section 66-A (b) of the IT Act 2000 said CID additional DG Tirumala Rao. He said the youth was arrested after receiving a complaint from a local person against him.
